I just added text Shapes last night. This little app now has quite a bit of functionality at the expense of 400 lines of code :)
I can't speak for any of you people, but I'm never going back to drawing basic shapes with the mouse ever again. Keyboard-based drawing is superior. You can draw your shapes with more precision, and it's easier on the wrists. I'm willing to upload the binary at my site, but you'll still need the proper library files to run it.
