I don't. I have a Windows 7 desktop PC and a Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" laptop for work. I use Linux in a professional capacity only now (specifically for keeping servers in line. They're unruly little turds, the lot of them! Turn your back for ten second, and they'll apt-get some strange thing that you haven't vetted yet and then your whole application will be in questionable waters). It is rare to find people running Knoppix by default. I generally use it as a swiss-army knife for fixing broken installations of Windows and Linux. Don't miss out on it just because you're feeeling lazy :D I am lazy, but my point is that without proper packaging (even a makefile - GNU Autotools are cryptic, but they're good) it makes it that much harder to use your software. Software isn't just the code, it's also about getting it installed.
