I'm running Linux Mint 8 on my 32 bit laptop. I previously had Opera
10.10 installed from the repositories and removed it. I downloaded
Opera 10.50 into my home dir - untarred it and moved the newly created
dir to /usr/local. I then created a launcher for it in the Gnome
taskbar. I found that clicking on it doesn't fire the browser, so I
checked it out from the command line. Here's what happens:

<command line>
/usr/local/opera/opera
The Opera binary is not located at "usr/lib/opera/opera".
Please modify the wrapper script at "/usr/local/opera/opera".
</command line>

Anybody know how to fix this??? Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Scott
