You can check it yourself with QEMU. ;-)


I tried today's Linux tree (commit c2f2b01b74be8b40a2173372bcd770723f87e7b2 (HEAD, linus/master, linus/HEAD)) with corenet64_smp_defconfig and I have no problem booting on QEMU, see below. Can you provide more details on your problem, the full messages before the Oops, and your .config ?
