From: Abhirup Deb <abhirup...@linux.vnet.ibm.com>

Use quotes around variables to prevent POSIX word expansion,
use uppercase for signals(INT, TERM, EXIT) to avoid mixed/lower case
naming of signals and replace "==" with "=" as "==" is not
supported by POSIX shell.
