Not sure if ftp client supports wildcard(*).
If yes, then
- Login to transferring node using SSH
- Create FTP session using FTP client with other node
- Upload files (PUT *)

BTW, there are many alternatives to do so.

If you ask me, I use netcat to do that.
Create tarball.
Transfer tarball.
Verify MD5.

I'm used to this, so it doesn't take much time for me to do that all :-)
