You really should look at what the GNU project has to say and base your claims on some facts before making such sweeping statements. BSD is a free software licence since it: (a) Meets the 4 freedoms that the GNU project lays out, and (b) Is listed as a free software licence at: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#SoftwareLicenses Have a look at the Modified BSD Licence there. Of course, you could claim that your definition of freedom is incompatible with the FSF's, and I respect that, but you'll excuse me if I sort of die laughing after I send this mail.
