Yes. I use Arch Linux so I get kernel updates regularly.
I can't tell you exactly in which kernel the problem first occurred. I
can only tell that Kernel 3.16 is the first kernel where I got that Oops
and the second time was with 3.16.1. With about 4 or 5 boots in between
without any problems.
I never had this problem prior 3.16. This means either that the problem
did not exist from 3.5.4 (first kernel I used with my initial
installation of Arch Linux) up to 3.15.8 or it means that some piece of
my hardware is broken somehow and starts to cause problems... :(
How about if you compile xhci as a module, and load it, does it still fail
sometimes?
As far as I can see it is compiled as module. Kernel config can be found
here:

The failure only occurs sometimes (twice, so far). It is not easily
possible to reproduce the problem. It only occurred while booting and a
system reset (reset button) always worked to get the system up to a
stable state in a second attempt.
