Hi Thomas,

I have successfully connected the TP-Link dongle on our system based on your suggestion below. Another question let's say i reboot the system will this be automatically connected or I need to do the same procedure?

Thanks,
Edison

Hi Edison,

we should start again.

You are using ubuntu 12?

Is it right, that your kernel-version is 3.2.0-30 ?

(uname -a )

I am not sure, but in this case you can forget qmi and you can focus on "option".

In your first mail usb-switch did work correctly.

you should see 2357:f000 directly after plug in

and you should work with 2357:9000.

If " option" doesn't load, then load it via modprobe and

echo "2357 9000"> /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id

Then try to use Network/Modemmanager to connect via /dev/ttyUSB0.

Regards,

Thomas
