Hi, This message is for request to support CD-ROM boot support in the USB Gadget driver.
Specifically, I ask for improve "g_mass_storage" driver with: * 2048 byte/sector support in CD mode. * workaround for READ TOC command with incorrect length. I see this ancient patch about the problem from Andreas Kemnade: Thread: [Booting from g_file_storage in cdrom mode] in "linux-usb" mailinglist. URL: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-usb/msg25003.html The current implementation works with OSs (like Windows) that don't force 2048 sector size, but several systems don't like 512 sector size (including bioses). Please, can you improve the driver? I feel that the original developer (Alan Stern) can do this without huge effort. I wait for good news.
