Its the product description of the device shown by /proc/bus/usb/devices.
The mapping of usb devices on the host system is managed by this device and by 
the virtual pci controller also.

Okay but there were no problems until kernel version 2.6.23.
There were no problems from version 2.6.17 to 2.6.22.

I have to build a kernel with the monitoring feature first.
I'll post the output as soon as i have a running kernel.
