Hi Dave, Thanks for your reply. I will try the EHCI patch you mention, and try and post the lsusb -v output tomorrow.
I agree that Belkin devices are usually very good. However, if a device is using a maxPacketSize that is too big when it is being a Full speed device, then would a fix similar to the EHCI patch be need for the UHCI_HCD driver as well? I'll try the EHCI patch first, and let you know how I get on. What do you think? Can't be done .... although this patch may help: http://marc.info/?l=linux-usb&m=120251217423348&w=2 Could you forward "lsusb -v" output for this device? When it's running at high speed (/proc/bus/usb/devices lists "Spd=480"). I'm more than a little bit surprised to see a Belkin product have a problems like that ... previously I've seen their products to be higher quality, and without this sort of blatant conformance bug. (In fact, without a lot of minor quirks ...) Of course, maybe the "Premium Vista Logo" program is in conflict with the "USB 2.0" certification... - Dave - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html < - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
