You might want to bring this to the attention of the person who ported the EHCI driver for the Freescale chip (CC'ed). It seems clear that something is wrong with the root-hub TT, or whatever this controller uses as an equivalent. Do you have CONFIG_USB_EHCI_ROOT_HUB_TT enabled? The symptoms are simple: Everything works correctly when a high-speed device (your hub) is attached directly to the controller, but things don't work when a full-speed device (the other hub or the audio devices) is attached. Unfortunately I can't be of any more help, because I don't know how this controller is supposed to work.
