Hi, The Gretag-Macbeth Huey display colorimeter claims to be an HID device but isn't. As a result the linux HID device will claim it, preventing FLOSS software like Argyll CMS (http://www.argyllcms.com/) from talking to it, and forcing the use of fugly workarounds like http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/argyllcms/current/SOURCES/96-Argyll.rules or http://nim.fedorapeople.org/argyllcms/argyllcms-0.70-96-huey-hid-workaround.rules
Please blacklist it at the hid level so such workarounds are not needed anymore. Its vendor ID is 0x0971 and its device id is 0x2005 Frédéric Crozat from Mandriva has such a device and may provide more info. Regards, -- Nicolas Mailhot
