Hello, I have run into a bug which I am unable to pin down, probably there is a problem with EHCI, because everything works with UHCI.
There is a random crash when using USB 2.0 device with EHCI for audio playback, dmesg: ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.7: fatal command 010010 (park)=0 ithresh=1 Periodic period=1 024 HALT When using the device with UHCI, there is no crash. The fatal error is reproducible with any recent kernel (tested 2.6.23, 2.6.23.1, 2.6.24-rc4) and with any version of ALSA driver for EMU 0202 USB soundcard: snd-usb-audio (1.0.15 and hg versions). The output from dmesg (with usb debug), lspci -v and lsusb -v is included here: http://bytes.sytes.net/Archive.zip I am running vanilla kernel, kernel config can be found at http://bytes.sytes.net/config-2.6.24-rc4 Hopefully the provided information is sufficient to diagnose the source of the problem, if not, I am more than happy to give additional information.
