Really informative breakdown! It’s frustrating that WhatsApp’s crackdown is
hitting <a href="https://gbwhatsproapp.com/";> GB WhatsApp </a> users so hard
with these bans. I’ve been using a secondary number and the latest version from
gbwhatsproapp.com to stay safe, but it’s a wake-up call to keep backups
regular. Thanks for the tips on avoiding permanent suspensions

Title:
WhatsApp’s crackdown on modified apps leads to temporary or permanent
  suspensions for users.

Bug description:
WhatsApp’s intensified crackdown on modified apps like GB WhatsApp has
emerged as a critical issue for users in 2025, leading to widespread
temporary and, in severe cases, permanent account suspensions. As
Meta, WhatsApp’s parent company, enforces stricter compliance with its
terms of service, users of GB WhatsApp—a popular third-party app
offering dual-account support, advanced privacy features, and
customization—are increasingly at risk. The bans stem from WhatsApp’s
automated systems detecting unauthorized modifications, which violate
its policies by accessing unofficial servers and altering the app’s
core functionality. Temporary bans typically last 24–72 hours, serving
as a warning, but repeated violations or failure to switch to the
official app can result in permanent account loss, locking users out
of their chats and contacts. This issue is particularly frustrating
for GB WhatsApp users who rely on its unique features, such as
enhanced media sharing, message scheduling, and theme customization,
which are unavailable in the official version. To mitigate risks,
users are advised to download the latest GB WhatsApp versions (e.g.,
v18.50 or newer) from trusted sources like gbwhatsapp, which claim to
include anti-ban protections. Additionally, using GB WhatsApp with a
secondary phone number, regularly backing up chats, and avoiding
spammy behavior can reduce ban risks. However, the persistent threat
of bans underscores the trade-off between GB WhatsApp’s advanced
features and the security of using an unofficial app, prompting users
to weigh convenience against potential account loss in an era of
  heightened enforcement.
