Solution for maintainer: ------------------------
I just ran into the same problem, and found a solution. Another poster said he compiled from source, and pointed to this location for instructions: https://github.com/OpenShot/libopenshot/wiki/Linux-Build-Instructions Well, my build failed (the first build with audio, but I also had to move to gcc-13 so maybe that's it..), but I installed a LOT of packages with sudo apt install. After doing the installs, it worked fine. There's missing dependencies in the package manager.
