When playing back a chained ogg the decoder should be able to continue the stream without pause or stopping, I've found that at the end of every song or segment Chromium has begun to stop playback. This issue has been raised with the Chromium developers as well, https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=175281 but I suspect, since there seems to be a bulk of reports coming from Ubuntu users, it may be possible that Ubuntu may have re-introduced the broken decoder code in their package.
