Especially since it worked properly in Openshot 1. To manually rotate each image in a large slideshow takes a lot of time.

It is not difficult to manually rotate images (see bug #486174), but it would be even better to automatically rotate them. The absence of auto-rotation can be confusing to the user if they have previously viewed the images using software that honors the orientation flag (such as the Gnome image viewer). As far as they are concerned, the images are fine until they are imported into OpenShot which appears to rotate them into the incorrect orientation. A good explanation of the orientation flag can be found at http://www.impulseadventure.com/photo/exif-orientation.html To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/883991/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~linux-traipu Post to : linux-traipu@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~linux-traipu More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
