Openshot segmentation fault while editing

Bug description:
I just started using Openshot. I found it easy to use. But it keeps
crashing. Whenever I do some clipping in the timeline and then press
the Play button (or space key) then it crashes. Sometimes, navigating
through the timeline also make it crash.

See Line no. 399 (last line). This happened when I tried playing the clip
after some editing (clipping).
I searched about the crashing and found that there are other users affected
(on Ubuntu etc.).
