We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions. ** Changed in: mythbuntu Status: New => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of UBUNTU - AL - BR, which is subscribed to Mythbuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1243912 Title: EIT confused by New: title on UK Channel 5 Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Expired Bug description: This I hope will be an easy fix as it already resolved against 0.27 (see here http://code.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/1255ccf/mythtv and here http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/11715) Per the description, Channel 5 (and seemingly now the BBC too) have started adding "New:" to show titles via DVB-S EIT. This means setting a recording entry for "New: The Dog Rescuers" records a whole collection of other shows that are also prefixed with "New:" such as "New: Criminals: Caught On Camera" or "New: Unsafe Sex in the City". Can such a fix be backported from 0.27 to 0.25 please? Many thanks for looking at this report, and indeed for all the efforts of you developers that make Mythbuntu the ultimate Freesat solution for me at home and at work :-) I am running 12.04 with latest (at time of writing) updates.
