Hello Eric & All , As a further on the subject matter . The very same
controllerworks flawlessly with the SuperMicro 4 bay U320 CSE-SCA-833S2
Backplane .
So that (again) leaves the HP DS-SL13R-BA 4354R 14drive ultra3 racKmount
cabinet w/ dualbus & dualps as the culprit .
Does anyone have information on this disk chassis ?
There is a rj45 connector on the opposite side from the vhdci
connectors . Is that port usable for diagnostics ? Maybe I can at least
determine what it is doing that fails so miserably .
