No it's the standard kernel that YaST installs. I could build a new kernel as
you said but how do I boot up the system to be able to create this new kernel?
If I install LILO to floppy disk instead of Master Boot Sector will the
standard kernel be able to boot?
Could I add an IDE device to the system, boot the standard kernel from there,
build a new kernel that includes the aic7xxx module and then remove the ide
device? I know it sounds long winded but I'm a bit lost here.
