I'll second this. Running a 

GA-7DX with Athlon 1.2Ghz 
512MB DDR SDRAM
GeForce 2 MX
Intel Dual EEPro Server Adapter
Adaptec 2940UW (w/ IBM SCSI's, HP CDRW, Plextor SCSI CDROM) 
Soundblaster Live!. 

No problems at all. Lovely smooth running all day, every day. As below, YMMV,
