Hello everyone, My name is Alexey Shmalko and I'm a student of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute and have just finished the first year of my studying.
I'm crazy about programming, have a strong knowledge of the C language and good knowledge of the Linux system (thank you, Gentoo). I've read Robert Love's Linux Kernel Development, so I'm familiar with the general kernel concepts and successfully answered some kernel-related questions on stackoverflow. It would be great to participate in the next year GSoC contributing to the Linux kernel. For this reason, I have to find a mentor. If someone pushes me in the right direction, I'll be happy.
