I see the same problem on my workstation with a G86 [Quadro NVS 290] (rev a1)
running Debian (sid) with:
xserver-xorg-core 2:1.12.4-3
libdrm-nouveau1a:amd64 2.4.33-3
xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:1.0.1-3
and mplayer2 2.0-600-g95e81df w/the xv video output driver

I bisected to the same commit as well.
