Hello guys (especially Vojtech), I've got a strange problem with my ZIP drive. If I connect it as /dev/hdd, I'm not able to use uDMA on my hard disk (/dev/hda) properly anymore. Once the kernel stopped with a "kernel panic" (because an disk I/O error occured and ReiserFS coudn't read a superblock, so Linux wasn't able to mount the root FS). Next time I tried to boot it, lots of DMA errors occured, but the system booted. Unfortunally the disk transfer rate was 9MB/s and not 11 anymore... What could I do?
