Note, I don't normally do stable releases in the middle of the -rc1
merge window, but by doing that, they get really big and delay getting
bugfixes to users who want/need them. So I've picked through the
patches submitted for the stable releases so far, and taken the "safer"
ones (i.e. mostly all small driver fixes). I still have a lot more
patches in the queue to be applied after this release, so if you don't
see a patch you have submitted in here, please wait for the next stable
release before worrying.

This is the start of the stable review cycle for the 3.6.1 release.
There are 56 patches in this series, all will be posted as a response
to this one. If anyone has any issues with these being applied, please
let me know.
Responses should be made by Sat Oct 6 21:11:02 UTC 2012.
Anything received after that time might be too late.
