An alternative: make find_tempdir set tempdir to default_tempdir
upon malloc failure.

* arch/um/os-Linux/mem.c (make_tempfile): Handle NULL tempdir.
Don't let a long tempdir (e.g., via TMPDIR) provoke heap corruption.
