I know set is bool. But that should not matter, code is okay and
compiler will do the right thing:

#include <stdbool.h>

void main(void)
{
  bool a = false;
    int b = a;
 }
 pavel@amd:/tmp$ gcc -std=c99 -Wall delme.c
