Unfortunately, it does not... I feel responsible for getting 
VMware vmmon/vmnet to work on 2.4.x kernels. As I run 
out of ideas, maybe it is time to apply kdb on my kernel ;-)

But I'll try to build some threaded app which uses shared mappings
of deleted files and sysv memory and I'll see.
