Hi List, After installing java on linux, the next question comes is -- "not able to run the same program after running java program 2 -3 times... reason X crashes... as no swap left) my poor PC with 32 MB RAM and 64 MB swap... crashes.... why it does not happens in windows 95. tried all the jingles of -xm and -sm still free swap space keeps on decresing after every run of a small Hello world java program... Is there any other means.... like -- using jikes for compiling... some other jre with low memory footprints... faster jvm etc... if someone has these details (of the correct mix) please post is to the list so that all having low memory in their PC can benifit out of this.
