Vilas Kumar C Hello, I am an amateur C programmer. So forgive me if I am asking a stupid question. In Turbo C, you have the functions inport() and outport() to deal with receiving and sending data to external ports such as LPTs. How do I do it when I an programming in C in UNIX environment. In other words, can anybody tell me how to send an 8 bit binary data to port 0x378 using an ANSI C program? A sample code would be very useful. Thanks a million.
