hi all
I reloaded linux, on my mach and during installation which was custom I
selected the egcs option and all other options related to the C and C++
having egcs and gcc names attached to them. The installation went on well,
but when I try compiling any files like 'gcc first.c', it gives a weird
message saying that the header files 'stdio.h' &'conio.h' could not found.
and without any header files the program gives some other error message,
saying
"/usr/bin/ld' the file ctrl.0 could not found' (not sure of this error
message) + something more.
What could possible go wrong. never compiled any c program on a linux mach.
