I'm back again and i'm still not connected to the net..... i
had posted mails earlier asking for help with kppp and had received lots of
replies .... thanx a lot ... i've incorporated almost all the changes u
people have asked me to make .... my various files look like :
/etc/ppp/options
name (my login name)
lock
noauth
defaultroute
/etc/resolv.conf
(DNS primary address)
(DNS secondary address)
P.S : i'm using these addr. in dial-up networking under windows and they
work fine
/etc/conf.modules
alias char-major-108 ppp
..... i think these are the changes u people asked me to make and i've made
them all... i use the terminal-based login in kppp.... i get connected
all-right , but netscape says it cannot find any server (same with kfm) when
i try to access any site .... what more do i have to do...

P.S : Could anybody in Bangalore who's using the student tcp-ip service
(giasbgc.vsnl.net.in) and wvdial to get on to the net mail me
their wvdial config file so that i can try using it after
modifications
