I have configured X for my S3 Trio 3D/2X. I get a resolotion of 1028x768 and
800x600 at 24 bit with a virtual resolution of 1028x768. This means that
when I am runing in 800x600, a part of the screen is outside the physical
area of the monitor screen. How do I change this so that at 800x600, the
entire windows are visible.
I tried adding a line as follows to the screen section of the XF86Config
file:
Virtual 800x600
but X doesnt start giving an error message : Virtual Y expected.
If I put 800x600 in double quotes the error message is : Virtual X expected.
commenting out this line results in X working.
any suggestions any one ?
