Hello sir
I had windows a fat16 partition and 1 extended partition containing
  3 fat32 partitions when i first installed linux.The 3rd partition which
was the part of the extended partition was made into a linux ext2 and swap
partition's.The change was made using partition magic(PM) 6.0.The first time
i could access all the partitons, until i converted the primary partiton
which was a fat16 partition to fat32 i was unable to access the windows
partition's.Now it gives me a strange error stating "major or minor sector
cannot be accessed" .So I thought some files must be coorpted and
reinstalled a different version of linux i.e. Redhat 7.0 (Previously i had
Redhat 6.1) but still continues to give me he same error.Moreove i can't
even access fat16 or fat32 floppies. Please tell what to do about it .Aleast
tell me what software to use in windows to access the linux partition.

                                                        your's faithfully
                                                        Shailesh Kumar D
