Hi,
I am a newbie to linux. We have just installed Redhat 6.2 at my
office. I
have been asked to install a c-isam database under linux. I know that
c-isam
is a set of c libraries used to create an isam database under linux, but
i
don't know any more.
1. Are there any GNU/Linux tools already available to create/use c-isam
databases?
2. what are the languages that provide facilities to access c-isam
databases
(in linux)?
3. Are there any tools to migrate the data in an existing c-isam
database
to oracle or sql server format?
4. i have heard that u can access c-isam databases using a language
called
'pdx'. Anybody know where i can find resources for the language 'pdx'?

I would be very thankful if someone could answer the above questions.

Thanks,
Manisha
