I am also trying to connect to VSNL mumbai usinf wvdial .
every thing works well .the modem dials the no all the ^&*($% initilization
carrier detection take s place
-->starting pppd at wed may 25 ****
-->ppp Deamon has died !(exit code 7)
-->disconnecting at wed ***
i am in bombay
what could be the problen .I have congigured wvdial.conf and added the
changes in resolv.conf ? any thing else also has to be done ...?
