this question doesnt directly suit into this list, but being a linux box i
thought to put it up here :)
I have a two dfe538TX ethernet card hooked on my 810 chipset mobo. whenever
the box boots up a message is displayed "Novell ready firmware Press <Home>
to boot from localdisk" If i dont press home key for some time, the system
hangs after giving some messages like on which card the system be booted from.
the problem is due to frequent power failures, the system restarts but
manual intervention is required to press home key every time. there is no
feature in the bios to disable this.
are these messages somehow related to the ethernet cards or the mobo. any
idea how to disable them.
