I am having a P 133/16MB with RedHat 7.0 Linux 2.2.16-22 (No MesDOS/Win)
My Sound card is OPTi Audio 16
BIOS is autodetecting and initializing the card.
sndconfig is auto detecting Opti soundcard and setting the following
/etc/modules.conf:
alias sound-slot-0 mad16
options sound dmabuf=1
alias midi opl3
options opl3 io=0x388
options sb support=1
options mad16 io=0x530 irq=5 dma16=1 mpu_io=0x300 mpu_irq=7 joystick=1
/etc/isapnp.conf is also looks OK!
While booting, sound modules are properly getting loaded, I am getting a
@click@ sound when modules are getting loaded. Here is my

Now the problem is audio sample test in sndconfig is cut in the middle. MIDI
is very much noisy. Also when playing MP3 with mpg123, I am getting the following error
"Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?". Also I am getting a
@click@ sound from my speakers then and there.
Can you help me with some guidence
