Nope - none really. Just read up the lilo and lilo.conf manpages.
Also read up the documentation in the documentation dir. viz 
/usr/doc/lilo<whatever> or /usr/share/doc/lilo<whatever> depending on your 
distribution...

Edit the /etc/lilo.conf file and make sure everything is in place.
Also, if possible, try to install lilo in the /boot partition or the root 
partition. If possible don't use the MBR, because if you reinstall Windoze 
(who doesn't? :), it will go and overwrite the mbr, which will overwrite 
lilo. If you put it on the /boot partition, just go and set the /boot 
partition as active and everythign should work fine. If you do a windoze 
reinstall, no probs  - all you need to do is go and reactivate the /boot 
partition. This can also be done from a windows fdisk.
