hi moyukh,
in kde 2.0 you had the option of viewing all m/cs in the network, but it was
broken as konqueror used its ownsmb algorithm.but in 2.1 it uses the
smbclient command of the samba package internally.and entwork browsing is not
supported.this is a temp fix until samba team and caldera come out with the
libsmb library when any app will be able to use sbm network.till then U can
manually add links(desktop entries) in the side bar of konqueror in the
network sectionthe files are found in
~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/dirtree/remote/ u can create url entries here for
each host in the network to have a network neighbourhood like look.
I guggest U use the komba2 package.it can do network browsing and has
readwrite support, and can give U lot of other info about the ms network.it is
available in http://apps.kde.com.

regards

sanjeev
