[LIH] Problem with e-mail

Hi

While attempting to log in to the hd1 server, I keep getting the following errors:

Oct  4 15:18:33 nizam mgetty[9612]: init chat failed, exiting...: Interrupted system 
call
Oct  4 15:18:33 nizam mgetty[9612]: failed in mg_init_data, dev=ttyS1, pid=9612

This is the output straight from the /var/log/messages file.

What could be the problem?
