You just have to bite the bullet and download it on the net. Or look
on the powertools CD. If you'd like to live on the bleeding edge,
the nightly snapshots are on:

gcc-2.95.x claims optimizations and support not in egcs. I don't know
what their release schedule is for the "unified" release.

gcc-2.95.x is also the default compiler on FreeBSD.
