My current card connects with 3 red-white-yellow RCA (banana) pins to the MEMIR and TVtime sees them as composite2 and PAL-BG. The PCI TV card is also connected to the sound card on the motherboard, but I assume that in a USB card, that would probably not be relevant.
If it was not clear in my previous post, I watch TV in a window - not full-screeen - so I'm not looking for a way to turn my computer monitor into a TV - just to capture TV output and use TVtime, Xawtv or whatever.
