I have to admit I didn't try this brilliant (but should have been obvious...) idea. I always assumed that scanners have some sort of margin which they cannot scan, so I always kept the scanned object away from the corner... But now that I actually checked, I see that it seems that while my scanner does have such a margin (of about 5mm) on one side, on the other side it gives a full scan. So I'll definitely use your idea! I should have thought about it myself :( I guess when one is so used to looking for software and algorithms, one sometimes overlooks the obvious "physical" solution... -- Nadav Har'El | Friday, May 6 2011, 3 Iyyar 5771 n...@math.technion.ac.il |----------------------------------------- Phone +972-523-790466, ICQ 13349191 |Warning: Dates on the calendar are closer http://nadav.harel.org.il |than they appear. _______________________________________________ Linux-il mailing list Linux-il@cs.huji.ac.il http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il
