Hello, Sorry for the possibly off-topic subject but I saw some mention of such questions here before and not sure where else can I ask this.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S phone (not in Israel) which runs Android 2.1 and doesn't show Hebrew characters. I read that this phone is expected to have 2.2 soon and somewhere else I read that 2.2 contains Hebrew. Is this right? Can I just wait for 2.2 and get the Hebrew with it wherever I am or will I still need to root it in order to add Hebrew fonts? I also looked at root'ing the 2.1 it currently comes with but am not 100% sure about downloading images from unknown sites. If someone here can point me to safe locations with instructions and safe images then I'd appreciate it. Also - if this isn't a good place to ask and you are aware of better forums then I'd be delighted to hear.
