TOMORROW, August 2nd at 18:30, Haifux will gather to hear Yair Even-Zohar talk about:

  Zemereshet

Zemereshet is an Emergency Project for the Rescue and Electronic Documentation of Early Hebrew Music. It is a volunteer association of enthusiasts who have assumed the mission of preserving the songs that were written and sung in Hebrew from the beginning of the Zionist movement until the establishment of the State of Israel. To that end, they established a website with thousands of recordings, lyrics, and complementary information. Yair Even-Zohar's talk will present the project and its various aspects, including copyrights and legal issues, as well as technical issues behind the scenes.
