I just tried to upgrade Fedora 12 to 13 on a different machine, and had exactly the same experience - the post-install crashed on nethack, and I had to jump through all the same hoops to fix the situation afterwards. So this is definitely not a fluke (bad sector, bad memory, cosmic ray, or any other of the usual "explanations" for flukes). I guess this teaches me a lesson - I should not install nethack on new machines. It's not as if I actually have time to play it ;-) -- Nadav Har'El | Wednesday, May 26 2010, 13 Sivan 5770 n...@math.technion.ac.il |----------------------------------------- Phone +972-523-790466, ICQ 13349191 |"The average person thinks he isn't." - http://nadav.harel.org.il |Father Larry Lorenzoni _______________________________________________ Linux-il mailing list Linux-il@cs.huji.ac.il http://mailman.cs.huji.ac.il/mailman/listinfo/linux-il
